The Spanish Ballet of Cuba (BEC) is back at Havana’s Gran Teatro with two performances in September choreographed by director and first dancer Eduardo Veitía. The Spanish Ballet will present their Greatest Hits from September 17 to 19, followed by Emigrantes, by first dancer Irene Rodríguez, September 24 to 26.

On September 19 at 10 a.m., the Spanish Ballet will present a special concert featuring dancers from their students group, which will conclude with a presentation of Las bodas de Luis Alonso in honor of teacher Marta Eguzquiza Díaz, who is celebrating 50 years of teaching Spanish dance.
