HAVANA, CUBA.- The Spanish Sol Melia hotel chain will open another five star hotel in Cuba as part of its expansion program in the Caribbean nation.

The Meliá Buenavista Exclusive All Royal Service Beach Resort and Spa, located in central Cuba, will start offering services in the 2010-2011 winter season, according to a bulletin issued by the Cuban Ministry of Tourism.

 The new facility will operate under the all inclusive modality at the Santa Maria Key and will feature Royal Service among others. It will have 100 Junior Suites and 4 Suites, along two swimming pools, three speciality restaurants and the same number of bars.

 Sol Melia runs already three hotels in this key:  Meliá Cayo Santa María, Meliá Las Dunas and Sol Cayo Santa María, all of them owned by the Cuban Gaviota Entrepreneurial Group.
