Kuwait, Cuba to boost cooperation in trade, culture

Cuba and Kuwait have signed agreements aimed at boosting cooperation in trade and culture, the official Radio Reloj reported on Sunday.
The documents were signed by visiting Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser al-Mohammed al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and Cuba's first vice-president of the Council of State Jose Ramon Machado Ventura.
Al-Sabah and Machado Ventura also "talked on the good state of bilateral relations" and expressed the common will to further strengthen cooperation, said the radio.
The Kuwaiti leader arrived in Cuba on Friday from Mexico in his first trip to the Caribbean island nation. The two countries forged diplomatic relations in 1974.
