KEY WEST, Fla. - Thirty years after her first attempt at swimming from Florida to Cuba, marathon swimmer Diana Nyad is almost ready to try it again.

The  60-year old hit the high seas Saturday morning for a continuous 24-hour practice swim.

Nyad says her world-record breaking swim to Cuba will come later this summer.

Her 40-mile swim Saturday will be one of the longest of her practice attempts.
