Cuban energy enterprise ECOSOL ENERGIA is a promoter of the use of energy renewable sources, particularly voltaic energy, and has electrified 544 homes, 1,882 television rooms in communities and 467 medical rooms in isolated zones of Cuba.

This gives solutions by means of isolated systems and connected systems to the national net.

This Cuban enterprise also electrified 150 social clubs with photo-voltaic energy in mountains zones, and benefited 5,543 electric systems in schools.

Ecosol Energia said the applications in photo-voltaic sources are characterized for being independent of the national net, and are used where it is impossible to have access to the National Electric System.

The panels feed the batteries during the day and supply electric power to the whole house at night.

Cuba has a company producing photo-voltaic modules and develops load regulators and other items.
