Cuba has ended Friday the five-day promotional campaign "Autentica Cuba" in Spain, a global drive with attractive offers by travel agencies, tour operators, airlines and hotel chains.

The Spanish tour that cover Madrid, Sevilla, Malaga, Murcia and Valencia, showed the Cuban people's charismatic, friendly and joyful nature on a six-minute videotape, showing a Cuba beyond the sun and beach Caribbean tradition.

Cities hosting a mixture of colonial and modern buildings within their cultural and historic heritage, contrasting landscapes, beautiful beaches, coral reefs, sea diving, and diversity of religions surrounded by safe law enforcement, explains why the Island is a unique destination.

As travel agency Cubatur promoted Santiago de Cuba province, Havanatur displayed the Oriente Circuit, a six-day tour of east Cuba and the Cuba-Jamaica package.

Islazul Chain presented "Dos E" (Encanto---Charm, in English) lodgings, Gran Hotel Camaguey and Royalton Hotel in Bayamo.

The remaining hotel chains promoted were Cubanacan, Gran Caribe, Occidental Hoteles and Sol Melia, Iberostar, Hoteles C, Barcelo and Superclub, linked to the airlines Air Europa, Cubana and Iberia.

Guama, Cuba's touroperator in Spain, also offered Travelplan, Club 5 Estrellas, Politours, Catal, Tierra Dorada and Jelouu.

At the closing day in Valencia, Advance Media -the Cuban promotional office in Spain and Portugal that ran the caravan and business rounds- also launched "Buen Viaje a Cuba" (Good Travel to Cuba) magazine.
