Rumba Girl

Hip hop and rumba will alternate each week, from next 3 of June at the Atril hall of the Karl Marx theatre, in a space that has been named Moña y rumba en Calle 1ra.

Roberto Rossel, deputy director of the Cuban Rap Agency, said to the press that in these presentations, everything will be shown, related with the hip hop culture.

Anónimo Consejo and MC Brebaje Man, both groups with nominations to the Cubadisco 2010, for their recent productions, will perform in the opening day.

The first of the rumba groups to appear in front of the audience at the Moña y rumba en Calle 1ra will be Addache.

Their presentation will be on the 10 of June, while their colleagues Boaba, will have their presentation on the 24 of the same month.

The significance of this space – always open from 4-30pm and until 8-30pm – is that some times, rap singers and rumba singers will join on the stage and will create a classic Cuban show, as the one offered this Tuesday to the press by the groups Obsesión and Timbalaye.
