Mark Cuban

Former NBA star and current NBA analyst Charles Barkley sat down with Galloway & Co. on ESPN radio to talk about Mark Cuban, the Dallas Mavericks, and the possibility of LeBron James coming to Dallas. Here are some highlights:

What do you think about Mark Cuban’s comments on LeBron James?

He didn’t say anything. Yes, everybody would like to do a sign and trade and Cleveland probably will.

Think about it from a financial standpoint: they can give LeBron 30 million dollars more than anybody else.

If they were smart, if he’s not going to resign there and if he were smart, he might as well get that extra 30 million dollars and do a sign and trade.

That was just smart business talk. He can get the money and he can get his own team. But, as I’ve said all along, I hope he stays in Cleveland.

Why is LeBron James not coming to Dallas?

If they do a sign and trade, they have to get rid of their old team and keep Dirk. And him and Dirk alone wouldn’t be enough to win the championship.

Those two guys would be a good team, clearly, but I guarantee that LeBron James isn’t going to Dallas.

To me, it’s either New York, Cleveland or Chicago, from a basketball standpoint.
