The municipalities of San José de las Lajas, Bejucal, Bauta and Artemisa will be under venues of the 15th Havana International Poetry Festival, scheduled to take place from May 24 to 30.

Among the activities which will take place in the province there are poetry readings, the festival Mujer y Poesía (Women and Poetry) and the so called Botella al mar (Bottle to the sea), in which national and foreign creators will take part.

The day dedicated to Havana will be May 28, when the party will be extended also to all the other municipalities, where lyrical singers from each location will read their work and express their dislike of the media campaign of the United States and the European Union against Cuba.

In the festival, which is extended once again to several provinces, people expect the participation of guests from more than 40 countries and it will be dedicated to the hundredth birth anniversaries of José Lezama Lima and Miguel Hernández, as well as two hundredth anniversary of the beginning of the independence struggles in America.
