Cuban Tourism Promotion in Italy and Spain

The Cuban Tourism Ministry (MINTUR) note added that this tour is entitled "Autentica Cuba" (Authentic Cuba) and is a new promotion campaign ending on June 4.
With this tour, Cuba is seeking to spread itself as a tourist destination and its products and tourist institutions in the most important Italian and Spanish cities, and strengthening of links between MINTUR, its empresariat net and the public.
The programmed cities are: Venice, Milan, Bologna, Ancona and Rome (Italy), and Madrid, Sevilla, Malaga, Murcia and Valencia (Spain).
These cities concentrate a high number of tour operators, travel agencies and airlines, which are linked to the commercialization of Cuban tourism. Each city has programmed the participation of the public, specialists, officials and the press.
The initiative includes exchanges and negotiations, presentations on the Cuban tourism development, and musical and gastronomic meetings.
Besides MINTUR representatives and their offices in Spain and Italy, delegates of Cuban tourist groups CUBANACAN, Gran Caribe, ISLAZUL and Spanish enterprises operating in Cuba, such as SOL MELIA, Iberostar and Occidental will take part in the initiative.
