Ballet Viengsay Valdes
Paris, (PL).- Cuban National Ballet Prima Ballerina Viengsay Valdes has displayed in Paris her skills and angelical figure to break the myth on remakes in a memorable performance of Giselle.

The heir of BNC Director and Choreographer, Prima Ballerina Assoluta Alicia Alonso, Valdes radiantly and gracefully danced the world-famed piece and the audience at the Paris Casino de Enghien-les-Bains theater awarded her performance with a standing ovation.

Accompanied by lead dancer Eliecer Bourzac, Valdes confessed her thrill for the unexpected, warm welcome with seven curtain calls and shouts of "Bravo".

The BNC star said her world tour agenda for May includes Birmingham, Cardiff, the Don Quixote solo at the Festival of Munich, Germany, on May 8; and a duet in Balletissimo, World Virtuous, on May 27 and 28 in Mexico.

Cuban Prima Ballerina Valdes also announced for October a visit to Australia as soloist and a function in another tribute to Alicia Alonso in Havana's International Ballet Festival.
