Ernesto Blanco Launches First CD

Ernesto Blanco launched his first disk Kilómetro cero (Bis music 2009) at the El Sauce cultural center in Havana.
The 10-song album is a pop album mixing Cuban genres like the mambo and chachacha with other genres such as rock.
The album is produced by Blanco and features guest appearances by brother David Blanco and singer Dianela de la Portilla talking about the CD, Ernesto Blanco said that Kilometro cero is a very familiar sounding CD with melodies reminiscent of the 1960s and 1970s and influences from Queen and The Beatles.
The CD has been nominated for several Cubadisco 2010 awards including in the category of pop music, design, and video.
