Coach Lino Socorro says their program consists in a B stand, 3.5 back flip with a double-flip jump which they will premier in Canada's Grand Prix.
They began practicing the jump only three weeks ago and Jenkler, who had never before had performed it, showed a great level of assimilation to synchronize with his experienced partner, said Granma newspaper.
Their main rivals in Mexico are top ranked Chinese Zhang Yanquan and Cao Yuan and Germans Sasha Klein-Patrick Haudsing.
The competition ends Apr 23-24 in Sheffield, Britain.
