The Russian Navy’s Kruzenshtern training ship arrived on Friday in Havana, as part of activities organized by Russia to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Cuba and Russia and the 64th anniversary of the victory over fascism.

During their stay in Cuba, the crew of the Russian training ship will visit the head of the Cuban Navy and the president of the Havana Provincial Assembly, and place floral wreaths at the Mausoleum to the International Soviet Soldier and at the sculpture of Cuban National Hero Jose Marti in Central Park.

The Kruzenshtern will be in Cuba for two days, docked at Havana’s Cruise Terminal.
