Cuban Erick Hernandez set another world record in ball control,when he hit the ball only with his feet for six hours and four seconds, at Havana's Parque Central Hotel.

In this difficult trial, he approximately hit the football 40 000 times.This was a spectacular attempt; Erick used a on-traditional ball for these control specialties. It was of solid rubber with a diameter of only 27 centimeters and 230 grams of weight.

To give you an idea of the tribulations suffered by the athlete in this attempt, it is worth mentioning that the ball he used is almost equal to a tennis one, which has a 25-centimeter diameter.

“The training was similar to the one I always do, though the ball was of another kind. So, it was quite difficult for me my leg work, it is more difficult to hit a much smaller ball,” said Erick to ACN news agency.

“I have in mind to break another world record. Next July, at the Club Havana, I will try to break my current mark of hitting a ball sitting for three hours”, he said.

Erick has set several world records in these difficult ball control specialities, among then: more hits in one minute (319), 100 meters (17.83 seconds), Marathon (7.17 hours) and more time hitting a ball with the whole body (19.10.00 hours).
