The work directed by Otto Miguel Guzman tackles the artistic and human labour of people with Down Syndrome, members of the socio-cultural project Con amor y esperanza (With love and hope), coordinated by painter Jesus Carrete.
Human and family values are also part of the features of this audiovisual piece that tells the story of three youngsters (Javier, Lianna, Houari) suffering from this condition and who are part of this community project.
In the 30 minute documentary, Miguel Guzman confesses he became interested about the previous work made by Tele Pinar directed by Luis Hidalgo Ramos and Marco Antonio Fonseca, "Los Trazos de la inocencia" (Drawings of innocence).
"Love chronicles intends to think, reflect, take a look around us..." expressed Guzman in the premier.
Presided over by Jesús Carrete, creator of the project; its members, officials and personalities of the cultural sector, as well as Omar Olazabal, Director General of Mundo Latino, the documentary was premiered as a chant of hope for those to whom life has not been fair.
