Lots of those works will be finished this year. The plan consists of 10 facilities which are going to reinforce the increasing trend of visitors, mainly in Havana.
Among those works, there is Montebarreto Hotel in Playa municipality; its opening is scheduled for 2010 first quarter.
Other works are related to Copacabana Hotel, in which 84 rooms located in the central block were reconstructed and now are ready to receive guests.
The Deuville Hotel is being restored with its facade painted together with the refurbishment of its areas.
Hotel Saint John is still pending. Another facility to be restored is Habana Libre Hotel.
Cuba is visited every year by more than 2 million tourists, has 8 zones where tourism is highly developed and 300 hotels with 47 thousand rooms distributed throughout the Island.
