The 29th International Choirs Festival opens in Santiago de Cuba city, with a very rooted musical proposal in the tradition of this city.

Groups of the United States, Australia, Norway and Great Britain, among others, will share stages until November 29 with Cuban from different provinces attending the event.

The opening ceremony took place at the Dolores concert hall, with performances of the emblematic Orfeon Santiago and Musica Aurea chamber music group

The program also includes performances in the Esteban Salas Conservatory, Pedagogical, Medical and Oriente Universities, the Aguilera square, the Boniato prison center and Rialto Movies.

A practical-theoretical space will be dedicated to train children chorus, with audiovisual exhibitions evidencing the success of those groups.
