Tourism is expected to grow for the next season in Holguín province.
Carlos Zambrano, representative of the Cuban Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR) in this province, said that during the “high season” visitors will have access to the over 150,000 seats offered by the airlines that operate at the Frank País.
These two new airlines, WestJet and Finair, are part of the 15 that fly to the Holguin airport from Canada, UK, Germany, Italy and Holland, among others, with some 22 flights per week, he explained.
Those countries are the main tourist source for HOlguin where there are over 4,800 hotel rooms, mainly spread in Guardalavaca, Pesquero and Esmeralda resorts.
Among the best options is the Pesquero Beach Hotel, with the largest capacity in Cuba with over 900 rooms.
