The 31st edition of the Latin American Film Festival will be held in Havana City and other provinces from December 3 to 31.
It is one of the most expected cultural events of the year. The competition presents awards in the following categories:
fiction, documentary and animation, first works, unpublished scripts and posters.
The Cuban audience will enjoy the first great retrospective showcase of Chicano cinema organized out of the United States plus an exhibition of the most important works of Puerto Rican films.
This Festival will present, among many other surprises, a retrospective of the ICAIC Latin American Newsreel, awarded UNESCO World Memory for its aesthetics values.
