Some recreational options were redesigned and others were created taking into account the characteristics of the region and the visitors' expectations.

Lesner Gómez Molina, commercial manager of the Viajes Cubanacán tourist agency, expressed that providing for the new winter tourist season some recreational options were redesigned and others were created.

Among the options, mention should be made of excursions featuring nature, adventures and other Cuban destinations, which enlarges the tourists' possibilities to visit excellent places and get familiar with the local culture and history.

One of the most recent initiatives, an optional special excursion, has attracted the  tourists' attention, who have the opportunity to visit interestng places such as the Decorative Arts Museum, the History Museum, a cigar factory and a steam locomotives parking lot, all of them in the city of Ciego de Ávila.

The tourists who choose the Jardines del Rey (King's Gardens) destination can also enjoy safaris, boat excursions, visits to the cities of Trinidad, Cienfuegos, and Havana, and also a trip to the Che Mausoleum in Villa Clara.

Both foreign and national visitors can also enjoy other offers at reasonable price, involving several destinations, a different one every month, the package including transportation and lodging. Some of the possible places are Santiago de Cuba, Havana, Pinar del Río and Cienfuegos.

Tourists express a growing preference for the keys located at the north of Ciego de Avila province
