Fidel Castro meets Ecuadorian vice-president

This October 21st, the Cuban Revolution leader Fidel Castro met Ecuadorian Vice President Lenin Moreno Garcés, who expressed gratitude for the island's support to his country.
During a fraternal and animated meeting on Wednesday, Moreno gave the Manuela Espejo Order to Fidel Castro, acknowledging his role in a study on disabilities in the Ecuadorian nation.
Both figures analyzed the international situation, and went in depth into increasing collaboration between both countries, especially in health.
The top Ecuadorian official, on behalf of his government and people, was grateful for the role carried out by the island's physicians, geneticists, and technicians, who are part of the Manuela Espejo Solidarity Mission.
Before leaving Cuba, the vice president said the Cuban people and leaders display great solidarity and kindness.
