Erick Hernández
Next Saturday 17 (11:00am) at the Saratoga Hotel in Havana, Erick Hernández (42) wil try to break world records of ball control with his head, in the categories of the highest number of touches in 30 seconds and in one minute.

"I want to kill two birds with one stone. First, I want to break Norwegian Mathias Jensen's record of 164 touches in half a minute and then to break my own of 350 touches in one minute", said Cuban former soccer player.

Hernández broke Jensen's record last year in a demonstration at Club Havana. He hit the ball 196 times, but it was not ratified by the Guinness World Records.

"They did not want to accept it, but this did not discourage me. That was their decision, but now I hope I can count on the presence of the most suitable judges to get the approval", Hernández expressed.

This year he also broke the record in nonstop control of the ball while seated for 3 hours and 3 seconds.

He will start training for the record of 20 hours ball control without touching the floor.
