Marti Alliance coordinator, Andres Gomez, said in a press note today that although the new Washington administration has made it easier for Cuban-Americans with families in Cuba to travel there, it is still illegal for ordinary US citizens to pay for a visit to Cuba without a special license. He also points out that, in the interests of those Cubans suffering because of the US blockade of Cuba, it is time to normalize relations between the two countries.

Participants in the convoy should meet at the Youth Fair Park at the entrance on Avenue 112, SW and Coral Way from 10.30am to leave at around 12 midday to tour around the main avenues in Westchester.
