This initiative is part of the wide open door program to be carried out until next week in such institutions in the country, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the enactment of Law 23 for the creation of national, provincial, and municipal museums.
In the context of these events, it is also included the workshop Historia y realidad de los museos en Cuba, organized by the National Council for Cultural Heritage, which will be in session today at the Museum of Decorative Arts, in Havana.
Initiatives to celebrate this May 18th, International Day of Museums, will take place across the country. These initiatives include tributes, experience exchange, encounters with children, adolescents and young people about the work of museums.
