Australian movie week in Havana
Premiered in 2002, the story tells the real life story of Molly Craig, an aboriginal girl who runs away, together with her sister and cousin from a governmental institution whose aim is to turn children from that race into domestic labour.

The movie with a script and production by Christine Olsen will be screened in the Riviera movie theatre from the capital, in the Havana neighbourhood of Vedado, which will be the host of the movie exhibition until May 13.

This is the first time that our country dedicated a week to Australian cinema, which has every year its own space in the parallel exhibitions of the New Latin American Movie Festival from Havana.
