Specialists of Pinar del Río noted that instruction in that phase of life covers 99 percent of Cuban children, while in the rest of Latin America and the Caribbean it is just of 17%.

The experts stressed the way children develop skills, feelings and behaviours formerly considered typical of older periods; recent studies show the influence evolution from 0-3 years old has in the perception of reality.

This method, intended to children off Nursery Schools, was awarded a special recognition by the UNICEF in the year 2000; in addition some polls revealed that 95 percent of the preschool graduates fulfil the goals required to achieve success for the next educative levels.
