Folkloric Ballet of Oriente Excels in Cuba
Founded in the mid 1959, the company has cultivated dance, songs and percussion, and has performed in both Cuba and abroad.

The group has signed cooperation agreements with the ballet companies from Belgium, Jamaica, Uruguay, Suriname, Panama, Algeria, Haiti, Russia, Belize and Italy, as well as US folklorists.

The company's repertoire includes popular dances such as traditional son, mambo, cha cha chá, danzon, changüí and Cuban salsa.

The group also organizes international workshops on folkloric dances, including tahona, voodoo, Haitian merengue, rumba and eastern conga.
