Potevio Deputy Director Wang Zhongfu headed the mission that met with Cuban ambassador Carlos Miguel Pereira, who agreed on the importance of the Chinese firm in the Cuban sector's modernization.

Potevio, one of China's leading companies as supplier of multiple equipment and technology in telecommunications and informatics, has maintained close links with Cuban enterprises for some years.

In the meeting, the two sides also referred to prospects for bilateral projects next year.

The event closed with a donation of 40,000 dollars by the Chinese firm to help recover Cuban zones pounded by three hurricanes some weeks ago.
