Participants in the meeting, which will be held at the Palco Hotel, will elect the Executive Committee, regional vice presidents and the precandidates to the Directing Committee of the International Cycling Union (ICU).

Each country can be represented by three delegates, although only one can vote.

Cuba's José Manuel Peláez is the incumbent president of COPACI and one of the ICU vice presidents.

Peláez was reelected for that post in the meetings held in 1995, 1999 and 2004.
