The event, under the distinguished patronage of Her Imperial Highness Princess Hitachi, counted this time with the presence of 17 countries of Latin America and the Caribbean and contributed to promote the image of each of them besides promoting their respective national products.

National products as cigars, rum, coffee, books, craftworks, music discs, dishes and natural juices typical of the region were sold in the Cuban stand.

According to a report from Havana embassy to Tokyo, Cuba was the country in charge of closing the event, with dance shows from Peru, Argentina and Nicaragua, with the performance of Alexander Laborde, a renowned musician and singer, member of the Association of Cuban Residents in Japan.
