This forum is being attended by professionals, researchers and farmers, both national and international, and it will take place at the Florencio Gelabert Hall, in the Habana Riviera Hotel.

The participants will discuss topics related to the impact of neo-liberalism politics on co-operativism, and will visit production facilities in order to promote solidarity and cooperation in this sector.

This seminar, to run until the 20th, will also include lectures by Cuban specialists, as well as from Venezuela, Brazil, Mexico and Italy.

This seminar was summoned by Havana University, the Cuban Ministries of Agriculture and the Sugar Industry, and the national Small Farmers, Economists, Agricultural Technicians and Foresters Associations.
