During the Sports for All World Congress, held in Malaysia, Cuban experts briefed participants about the Caribbean Island's programs to promote sports.

In order to achieve that goal, Cuba has more than 42,000 professionals, including teachers, masters and doctors, who have specialized in sport-related professions.

Cubans can participate in a score of programs, including prenatal and aerobic gymnastics and special exercises for diabetic and asthmatic patients, among other options.

Cuba, Trinidad and Tobago and Brazil were the Latin American and Caribbean countries that presented papers in the Congress, which was attended by 505 delegates from 96 countries.
