Its aim is to propitiate a space of reflection and debate that may value the resulting experiences of the Second Itinerant Caribbean Cinema Exhibition, which will take place starting in October with a presentation program of twenty-eight countries from the region.

Among the themes that will be debated on the forum, there are La Muestra como experiencia propulsora de nuevos incentivos al desarrollo del cine caribeño (Exhibition as a boosting experience of new incentives fr the development of Caribbean cinema) and Análisis crítico de la programación de cine y televisión para el público infantil (Analysis of the cinema and television timetable for children).

The first exhibition constituted an important precedent because of its effective contribution to mutual knowledge and cultural collaboration and integration.

This initiative, that came out of the exchange between Cuban and Jamaica moviemakers, included the sponsorship of the Instituto Cubano del Arte e Industria Cinematográficos (Cuban Institute of Arts and Movie Industry) and the Regional UNESCO Offices for the Caribbean (Havana, Kingston and Port au Prince), as well as the National UNESCO Comissions in the Caribbean countries, CARICOM and TELESUR.
