The ITC, headquartered in Geneva, is cooperating with the Cuban Center for the Promotion of Foreign Trade.

Deputy Executive Director of the ITC Stephen Browne, who is currently attending the 26th International Business Fair of Havana, told Prensa Latina that the institution's digital publications are being updated so all international markets have access to them.

Browne said that promoting trade is very important because trade creates jobs, benefits and may even improve the environment.

He also said that the WTO Doha Round multilateral trade negotiations should favor developing nations.

The 2008 International Business Fair of Havana is in session on Tuesday at Expocuba exhibition center, east Havana, attended by representatives of 56 nations from all continents.
