Both officials expressed satisfaction over the advance of negotiations on the IT field, which started earlier this year.
Schegoliev said that, previous meetings allowed identifying main directions of bilateral cooperation, the interests of both parts. He said the technology brought to Cuba from Russia was welcomed by Cuban experts.
Meanwhile, Commander Valdes Menendez expressed that Cuba is trying to achieve a greater scientific and technological independence in these fields and added that Cuban personnel will have the possibility of receiving training at Russian universities.
