South African President Regrets Loss Caused by Hurricanes in Cuba

During the ceremony of accreditation of the new Cuban ambassador to
Pretoria, Angel Villa Hernandez, the South African Head of State reiterated his country's willingness to continue expanding bilateral ties with the Caribbean nation.
As part of South Africa's gesture of solidarity, the Alex La Guma Brigade, made up of some 30 members of the Friendship with Cuba Society, will travel come here, to do voluntary work in different recovery activities.
On September 25, following an agreement by the African National Congress (ANC), Kgalema Motlanthe replaced Thabo Mbeki and became the third president of South Africa after the defeat of the Apartheid regime in 1994.
