Cuban record company EGREM launched collection Canto a los Orishas by Lazaro Ros
The collection includes two discs that summarize the volumes dedicated to the folk music of African origin recorded by apkwón (lead singer) Lázaro Ros, in a selection of the most famous chants.

It also includes a multimedia feature with detailed information about the deities of the Yoruba pantheon and their attributes.

The selection has a license from Producciones Abdala (Abdala Productions).

Lázaro Ros (1925-2005) has been the greatest singer of Afro-Cuban music from the Yoruba etnic group and the Regla Ocha (Rule of the Orisha). In 2001, one of his folk discs was nominated to the Grammy Awards.
