Its purpose is to create a space for reflection and debate that values resulting experiences of the Second Itinerant Cinema Sample in the Caribbean, which will begin on October with a program of presentations in 28 countries of the area.

Among the topics to be discussed in the forum will appear the Sample as propulsive experience of new incentives for the development of the Caribbean cinema and Critical Analysis of cinema programming and television for the young public.

This initiative, originated from an exchange between Cuban and Jamaican film directors, was sponsored by the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry and UNESCO Regional Offices in the Caribbean (Havana, Kingston and Port au Prince), as well as UNESCO National Commissions in the Caribbean countries, CARICOM and TELESUR.
