Cuba increases efforts to improve living standards with further benefits through a Social Security Draft Bill to be discussed by year's end.

The Law rules that female pensioners 60 years and older and males 65 years and older with 30 years of work may enjoy their pension plus full salary if they work again but in something different to the branch where they retired.

Granma daily adds that the Law grants more than one social security pension that benefits orphans and widows, while widowers will opt for the best pension, a choice limited to females today.

The National Office of Statistics and the Ministry for Labor and Social Welfare say pension for partial or total disability is granted by proving that he is a worker and the new version annuls obligation to prove his work time.

Just like all other worker, the project also benefits self-employed.
