Ciego de Avila Cuba has graduated over 6 000 professionals during three decades
The last class, whose graduate titles will be granted early in August, is the most numerous in the history of the institution, with more than 1 600 physicians, dentists, nurses and health technicians.

Nurses, men and women, also go through a five-year university program. The graduates of this speciality were 902, while the technicians, specialized in around 20 fields, were 572.

Magdalena González, Dean of the MSF, pointed out that the high number of graduates in Ciego de Ávila province in this school year is closely related to the creation of local branches in all 10 municipalities of the province.

The Dean emphasized that every year more young students from African and Latin Americans sister nations finish their studies in Ciego de Ávila province.

Starting in September, the Faculty will hold 6 000 students, out of which a considerable number will be of foreign students.

This year’s graduates will immediately join the white robe army that provides either primary or specialized assistance to patients all over the world.
