Airline officials announced a third weekly flight connecting the eastern city of Santiago de Cuba with Port-au-Prince starting June 24.
Eight ATR-72 aircraft will be chartering tourists between Varadero, Cuba's main beach resort, and Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic starting July 8.
The new air connections mean an advanced step towards regional tourism multi-destination. Aerocaribbean flights will also increase passenger services for Cuban collaborators, Caribbean youth studying in Cuba and their relatives and business missions.
Established in 1982, Aerocaribbean showed a 20-percent growth in 2007, while consolidating itself as a regional and domestic airline, in partnership with Sol y Son and Siredtours S.A.tour operators.
Nicaragua, Honduras, the Dominican Republic and Haiti are among Aerocaribbean international scheduled destinations.
