The UCI was created in Havana in 2002 and has 10 faculties and three regional head offices, served by 1,600 professors, which guarantees the expansion of computer sciences in Cuba.
The main purpose of this presentation is to show the services offered by the institution, one of the premises of which is the principle of uniting study and work.
Among the Cuban experiences is the work carried out by Mission Identity in Venezuela, which is an example of products offered by the UCI -an integral solution that includes all the tools for the process of issuing identity cards, passports, migratory control, the handling of data and navigability, which are not usually offered in an integrated way.
This product was created to solve a specific problem in Venezuela , but others can be created to meet the requirements of clients, with advantages in terms of cost and integral nature.
Cuban Foreign Minister Felipe Perez Roque is heading his country's delegation to the Conference, which is seeking the establishment of a more plural new world order for information.
