With the presence of artists from several nations, the cultural event of ten-line stanza and the improvised verse also pays homage to Inocente Iznaga (El Jilguero de Cienfuegos), and to Doctor Virgilio López Lemus, poet, essayist, literary critic, who based his studies on ten-line stanza in Cuba.

Some of the main activities in this party will be the inauguration of the national gallery on landscape, mural ten-line stanza, interactive forum, fair of craft, rural dances, competitions on improvised and written verses, among others.

The Cornito, at the outskirts of Las Tunas city, will count on night shows and different activities starting from next July 3, because from Tuesday to Thursday the festivities will be held in Tunas Theater and at the cultural centers, located in the main arteries of the downtown.
