In Habana the Book Night takes place on Saturday
In addition to the many book offerings, the public will also have the opportunity to attend a variety of concerts, starting at 6:00 p.m. with a number of “guateque campesino” groups with improvising singers and musicians from the Antonio Maria Romeu Center. The activity will take place in the patio of the El Cochinito Restaurant in the capital.

At 7:00 p.m. in the park at 23rd and G St., Yoruba Andabo will host a rumba jam session. Later in the evening at the same venue the disc El Diablo ilustrado will include a concert by several young Cuban folk singers.

At 8:00 p.m. in the El Quijote Park there will be a concert organized by the Pablo de la Torriente Brau Cultural Center with folk singers Angel Quintero, Diego Gutierrez, Mauricio Figueral and the Yanet and Quincoso Duo, which have put the poems of several Cuban and foreign poets to music.

The literary fest concludes with a performance by singer/songwriter Polito Ibañez at midnight in the Mariana Grajales Park in Vedado, Havana.
