Tourist authorities pointed out that the 16th Tourist Caravan in Mexico is aimed at showing off the island nation's recreational options.

The program included tours of Cancun and other resorts on the Maya Riviera (state of Quintana Roo), as well as Mérida (Yucatán) and Veracruz. The caravan will also visit the state of Puebla and the Federal District.

In addition, the exhibition "Viva Cuba" is being held at Plaza Loreto, in the Federal District, where travels, handicrafts and cultural programs by Cuban artists are available.
