Russian Children and teenagers Pay Homage to Cuba during the celebrations of International Children's Day

An exhibition of photos featuring Cuban children taken by Russian Nikolai Manuilov was opened on June 1 to mark the international commemoration. Manuilov is a member of the Cuba-Russia Friendship Society that promoted the activity.
The Russian photographer highlighted the educational level of the Cuban children and the help the island gives to other nations in this sector.
Boris Volok, the society's vice president, said the organization was founded by cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin and Argentinean-Cuban revolutionary Ernesto Che Guevara. The society has continued with its work to strengthen the bonds between the two countries along its 64 years of existance.
