The House of Chinese art and traditions will be the space for the sessions of the scientific program that starting the 30 of May and lasting until the 3 of June. This house will be also the venue for the premiere of the documentary La felicidad según Samuel (Happiness according to Samuel), made by Angel Ma Argudín.
The competitions of Mahjon will be held in the same days at the Min Chi Tang Society, as well as tours through emblematic places of Chinatown, such as the Porch, the Cheng Wah Casino, Zanja Street and the Kwong Wah Po newspaper.
There will be a meeting with students of martial arts, a visit to the Residence of the Older People and to the Clinic of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
The 3 of June will be remembered in the Regla neighbourhood the arrival in 1847 of 206 chinese people on the Oquendo frigate from the Amoy port in Fu King province.
The meeting, dedicated this time to the Traditional Medicine, is considered the most important call of the Asian community in the bigger island of the Caribbean.
