Among the most significant projects exhibited is the production of software for Cubas Public Heath Ministry. The package includes informatics systems for processing statistics and to evaluate and distribute medical supplies to enable precise planning for purchases to satisfy the demand at hospitals while promoting savings and controlling inventories.

Another of the solutions arising from the computer labs at the UCI is an integrated platform for human resource management designed for customs offices. The system is already being used in Cuba and will be presented soon at a conference in Belgium.

Each of the projects shown at the Fair shows the emphasis on production at the UCI, both to boost the informatics development of the country as well as generate income.
