Cuba to Debate on Relationship Between Pork Production and Environment
Alfred Crespo, Director of the Cuban Pork Institute, told Prensa Latina that about 250 experts from Venezuela, Chile, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, France and other nations will be attendng the seminar.

The event will be held at the Capitol Convention Center from May 27th to 30th.

Food production, genetics and reproduction, facilities and management and local breedings area other topics on the agenda.

The seminar will be attended by researchers,pig breeders, higher-education masters, students, experts and officials from institutions, organizations and enterprises dealing with pork production.

Crespo also noted that the scientific agenda of the Forum includes lectures, workshops and round tables.

Cuba will show results of its Program of Conservation and Use of Genetic Resources regarding the Cuban Indigenous Pig.
